I know how hard it is to be a parent, especially when you don't know how to help your child.

My name is Ekaterina Okan, and I'm a child psychologist. If you're reading this between "get dressed!", "I don't want to go to kindergarten!", and trying to get your four-year-old to brush his teeth, you've come to the right place.

The first thing I want to say is: you're a good parent. Even if you yelled at your child today, are tired, or are scolding yourself for something. Tears before kindergarten, fears out of nowhere, tantrums without reason—it's not your fault.

A little about myself: I graduated from the Psychology Department of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and studied child psychology at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences. I've been working with children and parents for over five years.

If you feel like you're doing everything wrong right now, take a breath. You're not. You just want things to be better. And the fact that you've read this far already says a lot.

I'd be happy to help you better understand your child, listen to their needs, and find a path to warmer, calmer, and more trusting family relationships.

A consultation with the child follows an initial meeting with the parents. I work with children and adolescents aged 2 to 17.

Consultations are held online or in person in Tbilisi. Each consultation lasts one hour.
